"KASI BABY" is a debut album by South Africa singer, producer Draft DC. It was released by DCV records, through DistroKid on June 8, 2022. The album comprises 5 tracks and doesn't feature any guest artist. It was primarily produced by Draft DC.

Recording session took place from 2021 - 2022 Jun, the EP was recorded in South Africa, Alexandar township at Draft DC's home studio. Draft DC said "some of the songs such as NNA NKAO HLASELA, KANANA, and ALEXANDRA (DEEP KASI) I have keep them, since late 2021, I just kept improving them and making others for the Deluxe Edition".

"KASI BABY" was initially scheduled for release on June 8, 2022, which was his birthday. Looking to explore the different sound from his EP, SUPERMARIO II (2021), Draft DC mentioned on his Facebook page "the project is to embrace the kasi lifestyle and show a different side of township life" shifting from hip hop and trap sound. "KASI BABY" album comprises of 5 tracks.

The album opens with "NNA NKAO HLASELA", an Amapiano song with a mid tempo beat and beautiful log drum. In "NNA NKAO HLASELA", Draft DC addresses his power, and what he can offer. It is a very inspiritual project driven by power, love, and passion for music and art. KASI BABy received generally possitive reviews from the streets and music critics. Draft DC said he is currently working on his upcoming deluxe edition.
