South African singer-songwriter Mickeyblack has once again captivated her audience with her latest EP, Ufunani.
Released on November 15, 2024, under The King of Amapiano and distributed by Africori, the four-track EP offers an
emotional and empowering musical experience that resonates deeply with listeners.
The project features a mix of soulful and vibrant tracks, including Luvhele, Swo saseka, Ufunani, and
the fan-favorite single Kuyashintsha. Production credits for the EP are a testament to Mickeyblack’s dedication
to high-quality collaborations, with contributions from Gun-Do SA, Fanash Beats, Van Gee & Vicky.
Guest appearances from Fortunator, Gun-Do SA, and Fanash Beats further elevate the project.
The EP's journey began with the release of Kuyashintsha on August 9, 2024, accompanied by a striking music video.
Shot in Limpopo’s scenic Nzhelele at KM Lodge and the Pink House, the video was directed by Rendani Paku and captured
by MJ Madima from Optic Films alongside the Contimental Crew.
Mickeyblack describes Ufunani as more than a collection of songs;
